What is a Fixed-Price Auction?

Pencils Protocol's Fixed-Price Auction is designed to streamline the purchasing process, offering a transparent and efficient mechanism for both asset issuers and purchasers. Under this auction model, asset issuers establish a predetermined price for their assets, enabling purchasers to acquire tokens at the set price until all assets are sold or the auction period concludes. This feature accommodates SCR20 tokens and other digital assets, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and protocols.

Fixed Pricing: Asset issuers set a predetermined price for their assets, providing transparency and predictability in transactions.
Quota Acquisition: Investors need to stake $DAPP to obtain the corresponding quota.
First-Come, First-Serve Basis: Investors participate on a first-come, first-serve basis, ensuring a fair and straightforward auction process.
Time-Contingent Execution: The auction operates on a defined timeline, automatically executing trades at the agreed-upon time

Participate Rules

Stake DAPP Tokens: Users stake $DAPP in the Staking Pool to participate.
Proportional Allocation: Token allocation depends on the amount of $DAPP committed. Higher commitments lead to larger allocations.
Oversubscription Handling:

If the pool is oversubscribed, all participants' allocations will be proportionally diluted.
At the end of the Subscription Period, participants will receive their tokens and any excess $DAPP will be refunded.

This ensures a fair and efficient process, allowing all participants to claim their tokens and refunded stakes, if applicable.
